The Health Shop was established in 2007 at Bloem Plaza Mall, Bloemfontein. Since then, the store has expanded and evolved into an apothecary (herbalist), with a large customer base, trusted by many to supplement and assist with a variety of health complaints.

In 2023 the decision was made to produce and package our herbal formulas for distribution to a wider market, and so Healix was born.

Healix harnesses the power of traditional knowledge and modern expertise in medicinal plants, herbs, and spices to mitigate the negative impacts of modern living, stress, and bodily wear and tear. For the past 18 years, we have perfected the art of formulating rejuvenating combinations of natural ingredients, previously available in health shops, to support the body’s natural healing processes and aid recovery from illness and injury.
